Reagan Kotschau, a rising soccer star with the Colorado Buffaloes, got the call to join the U-20 United States Women's Youth National Team for its next training camp in Kansas City, Missouri. The occasion will start on Mar. 31 until April 7.
The goal? To qualify for the U-20 World Cup, set for Costa Rica in 2026.
Kotschau, a junior midfielder transfer from the Washington State Cougars, previously won All-Freshman Pac-12 honors in 2023 and received an All-West Coast Conference honorable mention in 2024. While at WSU, she totaled five goals and eight assists, making her mark as an everyday starter for the Cougars.
Early in the Buffs' 2025 spring season, Kotschau scored two goals and tallied one assist.
The US Women's Youth National Team's 24-person camp roster has been carefully lined with collegiate stars from all over the country. It’s headlined by two incredible players from the NWSL’s Seattle Reign, Jordyn Bugg and Emeri Adames. Kotschau is one of seven midfielders and one of two Big 12 players named to the squad.
Kotschau will likely return to spring action with Colorado on April 13 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
